Meet Apex Indochicyon!
This dinosaur will be available in-game as of October 23rd, 2024, 11:00 AM ET.
It is a hybrid of Unique Indoraptor + Legendary Rinchicyon.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Perfect for Halloween. The stuff of nightmares! Indoraptor finally gets an Apex in JWA. Apex Indochicyon is made from Unique Indoraptor and Legendary Rinchicyon. Based on an average fuse of 20, you'll need 750 DNA of Indoraptor and 3,000 DNA of Rinchicyon to unlock this Apex. To level Indochicyon to 30, you'll need 1,750 more Unique DNA and 7,000 more Legendary DNA. If you would like this creature at Enhancement Track 5, you'll need an additional 1,000 Apex DNA as well as catalysts and coins. It is a lot of resources.
Indochicyon is truly a terrifying sight as an Indoraptor hybrid. The team has done a remarkable job with its design, as the smoky black aura emanating from Indochicyon as it strides into battle is nightmare fuel. The Wyvern skin is also quite imaginative, with one community member dubbing it "the ultimate crazy death chicken." Ludia tells us that "The Apex Indochicyon is a Cunning and Fierce Critical powerhouse!" Is it? Well, the verdict is still out on how well this Apex will be, but we'll test and have battle videos out very soon. Overall, it looks like Indochicyon can be a great revenge killer and potential closer. Having the OE can be a blessing and a curse with so many counter attackers currently in the game. Either way, it will be fun to test out and potentially add a new creature to our roster. Stay tuned for a comprehensive analysis on Apex Indochicyon coming soon!

Sucks to see such a brilliant creature design wasted on a creature with a pretty mid kit
Glad to see they finally cooked with da design
It has the potential to be amazing but I think that they could've made its kit more complex and maybe given it devour. I reworked it on Paleo.gg because I didn't think that it would be good at all so it's kind of an overpowered powerhouse. And yes, the note is my actual thoughts on it. It didn't get devour, any cautious ability, and definitely got shafted in the resistances department. I could just be wrong though and this is actually a semi-decent apex hybrid that sneaks into the meta.
