Meet Apex Eremocanis!
This dinosaur will be available in-game as of February 19th, 2025 10:00 AM ET.
It is a hybrid of Unique Arctocanis + Legendary Eremoceros.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Eremocanis- We finally get to see cheat death on a good creature. Head-to-head and in a boosted setting, this creature should be able to counter creatures like Gryganyth, Compsovenator, and even Magnaraptor. Its swap in attack (Swap in Drop in) looks to be one of the better swap ins in the game. Also, with a punishing On Escape, Eremocanis will make sure to keep everything from leaving before it can finish it off. We're very anxious to see how well this creature does when not depending on H2H & in a team play setting. This is also another Apex where all of its moves will get some use depending on the matchup- whereas some creatures you never see them use the moves. We are very much looking forward to using it in the arena. Stay tuned for matches on the beach coming soon!

I'm not the biggest fan of its design but it's not horrendous. My big problem is its kit. You could tell me that this is the kit of a nun-hybrid legendary and I would believe you. Where's Arctocanis's healing, damage and speed increase? Where's the counter from Arctocanis and Eremotherium (that Eremoceros didn't get for some reason)? Where's Eremoceros's shields and Camouflage that's signature to the sloths? I'm confused because, as I said earlier, this could be a non-hybrid legend or unique. Even an epic hybrid could have this kit these days. It's so basic. I don't think it's a horrible addition to the game, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely not up there for me.
